Why it’s important to do your research…

It's such an exciting time for you as a Bride - looking for your wedding dress, but at the same time it can be filled with nerves and confusion. Researching your potential Bridal boutiques can help avoid feeling overwhelmed or disappointed if you end up not finding 'the one' at a boutique that you thought was perfect.

I promise you that even the tiniest bit of research before booking bridal appointments will not just narrow down your list of potential boutiques to visit but will also ensure a positive and productive start to your journey.

  1. Do they stock the style of dresses that you like?

You don't have to know exactly what you are looking for or even the silhouette, but it's good to take some time to explore the options of styles, silhouettes and trends through places like Pinterest, social media or even just our website. Think about your wedding location, your personal style, how you envision yourself walking down the aisle.

  2. Do they carry collections within your budget?

Look to see what the price ranges of their collections are, create a realistic dress budget based on your overall wedding and how you want to look. Every wedding dress will need alterations to create that perfect look, so do bear this in mind.

  3. Does their customer service approach align with your expectations?

Read their reviews, look at how appointments are conducted, is it private use so you are the only bride in at one time. Is the overall atmosphere of the boutique relaxed, do you know who you will be meeting at your appointment. How long is your appointment, how many guests can you bring along with you, how long are the lead-times and when would you need to be placing your order. These details will make for a seamless and enjoyable experience throughout your journey - know that you are in safe hands.

  4. Do they offer after sale care once you have purchased your dress?

It's always good to know what the next step is once you have found 'the one' and every boutique will be different. Do they have an in-house / recommended seamstress, do they offer storage of your dress, can they recommend dress cleaning for after your wedding day. What about accessories appointments? Do they offer aftersales advice if you need it.

We always encourage you to not be afraid to:

  • ASK ANY QUESTIONS BEFORE BOOKING YOUR APPOINTMENT

  • TELL US ALL THE DETAILS ABOUT YOUR WEDDING - WE LOVE TO HEAR ABOUT YOUR VISION

  • SEND ANY INSPIRATION PHOTOS THAT YOU MAY HAVE TO SEE IF WE HAVE SOMETHING SIMILAR

  • SAVE ALL YOUR FAVOURITES FROM OUR WEBSITE - IT’S A GREAT STARTING POINT
